PROCEDURE
To access some of the Certificate of Higher Education cycles offered by the Mateo Inurria School of Art there are three ways:
By direct access, without having to take an entrance exam.
Through a specific access test for the speciality (to demonstrate artistic sensitivity and technical skills).
Through a general access test to all the specialities (to show intellectual maturity and reflective and expressive capacity) and a specific access test of the speciality (to show artistic sensitivity and technical dexterity).
1.-General Test
Common to all specialties. It consists of a text commentary with questions proposed by the tribunal.
Materials. Pen.
Time of completion. 1,5 hours
Evaluation criteria:
Clarity of presentation
Spelling and grammar correction
Critical capacity
Qualification. The following will be qualified as PASS or FAIL
2.-Specific Access Test
Materials:
For the first exercise, of all the formative cycles:
Normally you will need:
- Pencils or a graphite bar of different hardness.
- Format of paper basik A4
- Eraser and pencil sharpener.
For the 2nd exercise:
- It will be announced and published on the centre's notice board and will vary according to the speciality. The link will be active when the announcement is published.
Time of completion:
1st exercise. One hour for the cycles of Photography, Illustration and Advertising Graphics and one and a half hours for Projects and Direction of Decoration Works, Ephemeral Architecture, Furniture, Sculpture Techniques in Leather and Sculpture Techniques in Wood.
2nd exercise. Three hours for all Cycles.
Qualification of the 1st and 2nd exercise. Each exercise will be graded from 1 to 10 with one decimal place. To pass the specific section, you must obtain a grade of 5 or higher in each of the exercises.
