REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
INITIAL INFORMATION
For access to the High School Certificate (post-compulsory studies), the academic record is taken into account.
The School of Art is a public school, so education is free of charge.
The student must pay 2.50€ as payment of administrative expenses, which must be paid into a certain bank account provided by Administration.
Students who are minors must have the authorization of their parents or legal guardians in order to opt for this unique schooling regime.
If you have been promoted to the second year, you can take the second year of the Art Baccalaureate, but you will also have to take three first-year subjects from the Art Baccalaureate.
If you have not passed the first year, you can register for the Artistic Baccalaureate and start from the beginning.
The only subjects you can have pending to change and go directly to the second year can be a maximum of two subjects (which have to be modality).
VACANCIES AFTER CERTIFICATION OF REGISTRATION
Once the registration period has finalised, any vacancies that may arise will be published on the school's notice board by the school's management.
The publication, which will serve as notification to those who may be interested, will state that in the awarding of the vacant positions, priority will be given to the students who were not admitted to the centre, following the order in which they appear in the admission resolution and who have a period of forty-eight hours to formalise their registration.
The corresponding Education Department will establish the appropriate measures for the transfer of the student's academic record.
DEREGISTRATION
TRANSFER OF REGISTRATION
- Transfers of enrolment in the Baccalaureate that are requested in the first term of the academic year will be authorised by the management of teaching centres, which must inform the corresponding Provincial Delegation of the Regional Ministry.
- When transfers are requested in the second term, they must be authorised by the head of the corresponding Provincial Delegation if they take place in the same province or by the head of the General Directorate responsible for educational planning if they take place between different provinces. In both cases, a report from the corresponding Provincial Education Inspection Services is required.
- Enrolment transfer requested from teaching centres in other Autonomous Communities must be authorised by the head of the General Directorate responsible for educational planning.
- Enrolment transfers cannot be authorised during the third term of the academic year.
- Notwithstanding the above, in the case of a change of centre due to acts of violence, the sixth additional provision of Decree 40/2011, of 22nd February, shall apply.
SIMULTANEOUS LEARNING
In the case of secondary education, initial vocational training and professionals in the plastic arts and design, it will not be possible to be enrolled in the same academic year in more than one of them, except in the case of secondary education and initial vocational training cycles, which may be taken simultaneously provided that the student is taking those professional modules that do not require his or her habitual and continuous presence in the educational centre.
